Meagan's Music Studio was founded in 2013 in Calgary, AB. During that time Meagan traveled to student's houses and/or they came to her home studio. Upon moving to Lethbridge, AB in July 2020, Meagan started her business up again in her home studio. Since that time her music studio has grown to accommodate piano, voice and group lessons.
Children (ages 0-16 months old) and their caregiver(s) attend class together strengthening their bond and allowing them to have fun together. Each class is filled with meaningful Music activities designed to introduce a variety of songs, movements and rhythms. Activities include movement, instruments, singing and listening.
Children (ages 16 months - 2.5 years old) and their caregiver(s) attend class together strengthening their bond and allowing them to have fun together. Each class is filled with meaningful Music activities designed to introduce a variety of songs, movements and rhythms. Activities include movement, instruments, singing and listening.
Music for Young Children (MYC) classes provide an excellent musical foundation for students age 2.5-12 years old. In these group classes students are introduced to rhythms, movement, songs, instruments, listening activities, patterns and ensemble experiences.
Private Piano lessons are offered for students age 12-adult. These classes are for older beginners, intermediate or advanced students who would like to increase their piano skills and/or work towards Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations.
Private Voice lessons are offered for students age 8-adult. These classes are for beginners, intermediate or advanced students who would like to increase their voice skills and/or work towards Royal Conservatory of Music examinations.
A Music for Young Children Program designed for children aged 2-5 years. This program can be brought to different Centres and is designed to pre-teach concepts and skills used for further instrument study.
For students who are interested in studying Kindergarten to Grade 6 Alberta Music Curriculum, Music Theory, Music History, Piano or Voice in a group setting.
In addition to the Music Time for Sunrise program several baby and toddler classes can be brought into Daycares and Dayhomes upon request. These programs allow children to explore music through movement, singing and play instruments.
